Floor Time
/flôr tīm/
noun
the 15-60 minute time period spent laying on the floor in the middle of the work day, typically as a relief from the soul-sucking reality of corporate America.
First off, know that I’m sorry—you usually only hear from me on Fridays, yet now I’m coming to your inbox under false pretenses that the week is through! How dare! I just wanted to pull a Clippy and say, “Hi! Do you have any questions regarding ordering your holiday cards?”
If not, then this is just a friendly reminder that you have 3 more days to fill out this order form and get your cards handwritten by me before the holidays.
Lastly, quickly, I want to say this: Putting out straight-to-consumer work like these cards always makes me nervous because I never know if people are gonna be as excited as I am. The fact that many of you have already put in orders (particularly those of you who ordered bundles) means so much to me—almost as much as it will mean to the person you’re sending them to, I hope. So, thank you. That’s all for now—see you Friday for our usual union mandated Floor Time :)
Your friend,
